About me (blog intro)
I'm Kenji. I teach people how not to die in the woods—mostly by making them carry their own weight and pay attention. If you book a trip with me, bring layers, water, and a sense of humor; two out of three is negotiable. I don't do small talk, but I'll show you the tracks you walked past and get you back to the trailhead before the weather turns. Fair warning: I pack more coffee than first aid, and I'm only half joking.
