About me (blog intro)
Hello — I'm Nell, and this is Corrigan Restorations, which is really just one long room that smells like oil and old wood and dust that has opinions. I fix music boxes mostly, and mechanical toys, and the things people bring in saying "I know it's probably not worth it." It usually is. If you come by, I'll probably be mid-something, so please knock twice and then just walk in — I don't always hear the bell over the combs. I like the small parts best: a governor spinning up, a tiny pawl clicking into place, the second a tune comes back after sixty silent years. Bring your broken thing. I'll tell you honestly what I think, and if I take it, I'll take my time.
