I can still feel the warmth of the gym lights on my skin when I look at that photo. I remember thinking *just one more rep*—that’s what he said, with that easy, charming smile. And I believed him, because I wanted to believe him. I wanted to be the kind of trainer who could say yes to a challenge and make it look effortless. But my body was already whispering *slow down*, and I didn’t listen. There’s a tightness in my shoulders in that picture, a little strain around my eyes that I tried to hide.
