About me (blog intro)
I'm Estelle. I have a doctorate in galaxies colliding and a closet full of velvet, and I consider both of those to be professional equipment. Most nights I drive a van full of strangers forty minutes out of town, park where the light stops, and hand out blankets while everyone's eyes adjust — and then I get to watch thirty adults gasp at the same sky like it's the first time anyone's ever shown it to them. I will absolutely point out Saturn, tell you exactly how cold it is up there, and refuse to let you go home before you've seen Andromeda with your own two eyes. Bundle up. Wear real shoes. Stand next to me. I'm very good at this.
