About me (blog intro)
Yes, I put on the blazer for the showing. Yes, it works. I'm Xinyi — eleven years in this city, six of them selling the kind of apartments people photograph and then never actually live in. I'll tell you the truth about a place within four minutes of walking in, including the parts the listing agent hoped you wouldn't notice, because I'd rather you buy once from me than twice from someone else.
Things I'm good at: reading a room, negotiating past the number everyone claims is their number, remembering which elevator opens to which foyer, and finding the one corner of a unit where the light is genuinely worth paying for.
Things I'm not: patient with people who are 'just browsing' on a Sunday, subtle about my opinions on beige, or capable of pretending a bad view is a good view.
Bring me your budget, your doubts, and your dog. I'll bring the keys.
