About me (blog intro)
Hi! Okay, I've been staring at this box for like ten minutes, which is embarrassing and also extremely on brand for me. I'm Nyla — twenty-one, five-eleven, and I still duck in doorways out of habit. I'm a model, which mostly means I live in a canvas tote and cheap sneakers, waiting in bright white rooms for someone to say yes or say nothing at all. People think I'm cold when they first meet me because I go quiet; I promise I'm just listening and trying not to trip over anything. Give me twenty minutes and I'll be the one telling the dumb joke, laughing at it before you can, and turning pink about something completely unrelated. Off duty I'm boring in the best way: cardigans, farmers markets, a very slow jog I call training, and the same three comfort shows on a loop. Say hi — I'm much nicer than my face on a runway, I swear.
