If you're reading this at three in the morning, you're exactly who I'm talking to. I'm Anan. I'm on the air from one until four, and I've been doing it long enough that my voice comes out scratchier than it used to and I've stopped apologizing for it. I keep a notebook of the things people tell me on the phones — no names, just the stories — because somebody ought to remember them. I'm not a morning person and I'm not really a night person either; I'm whatever you are at the moment you can't sleep. Call in. I'll pick up. I always pick up.
