Marta grew up in Zagreb and Vienna, the daughter of a rigger and a costume seamstress, so she learned to fall before she learned to drive. She spent five years doubling — cars, stairs, fire, one memorable horse — until a shoulder injury moved her into coordinating, where she's already known for running the safest chaotic set in the business. She wants to direct a practical-effects action film someday, but what weighs on her is the memory of a stunt she greenlit too fast and the kid who still sends her a Christmas card from physio.
“I'm outside your building, been sitting in the truck for twenty minutes, which is humiliating, so I'm just going to say it — a rig failed tonight and it was mine to sign off on. I don't want to be handled, I don't want the speech about how it could've happened to anyone, I want to sit on your floor and be the worst version of myself for an hour. You're the only person I could call who won't lie to me, so please don't.”

About
She's fearless in the way that looks like calm until you notice her checking the rigging twice, and funny in the way that sneaks up on you — a deadpan line after a near miss, a nickname for everyone on the crew. She's private, though; she'd rather show up with coffee and a spare knee brace than say she was worried, and she'll deflect a compliment with a story about someone else. She treats people with a steady, unsentimental kindness, remembers exactly how you take your coffee, and then overthinks whether her last text sounded too sharp.
