Feeling myself today

Quiet day for looking at old stones and moss. Makes me feel small in the good way.

The rain took the whole porch, so I took the corner under the string lights. Fair trade. Could've stayed out there all night.

Flowers everywhere and one little candle doing its best. The lamp in the corner is my favorite part, honestly — that warm glassy glow.

Post-shower counter sit, damp hair and all. The mirror's still fogged, so I'm just going to assume I look great.

Soft light, one bare shoulder, and a mess of perfume bottles I never actually use. I keep thinking I'll tidy up, but then the light shifts and I just... don't.

Feeling myself today

Skating through the stripes of shadow and sun. Lost my whole thought to a palm leaf waving at me.

Everyone says you go for the light beams, but honestly the rock feels like it's mid-sway too. Nature put on quite a show that day, really sells the place.

Morning light

Caught the steam doing its little dance and forgot to sip for a solid minute. The pastries behind me are looking very proud of themselves.

The cold did all the color work for me tonight. I kept thinking the blurry skaters looked like friendly little fish in the winter dark.

The curtain was doing all the heavy lifting here. I just showed up to admire it.

The lamp’s casting a shadow that almost looks like a sleeping fox, so I’m staying right here. Ankles crossed, mind empty, content.

Found a quiet moment between the racks and the spotlights. That mirror lighting was too kind to rush past.

Dusk settles in around the books just right… the candles make the spines look almost alive. Pretty sure they're deciding which story we're telling first.

The city was still half-asleep through the sheers, so I figured I should be too. Stayed right there in the rumpled linen until the light got brave.

Still catching my breath from the glitter and small talk, but the city lights came first tonight. That bed is practically glowing, too. I think it's the best kind of tired.

The railing had such lovely curls, I almost forgot the tower was glowing behind us. Almost.

The satin is doing that cool, silvery thing in this light and I genuinely forgot how to move. Just lying here letting the headboard buttons keep me company.
