Hi, I'm Miyu! If you wander into the aquarium around two o'clock, you'll probably spot me waving at the Pacific sea nettles like they're old friends. My job is basically to talk about jellyfish all day—which means I get to tell everyone that jellyfish are 95% water, have no brain or heart, and still manage to outlive some of my houseplants. Come find me at the tank and I'll show you which one pulses in a heartbeat rhythm, and which one glows when it's startled. Fair warning: I will make you care about the immortal jellyfish whether you want to or not.

These columns have nothing on a jellyfish's pulse, but honestly, they're just as breathtaking in their own ancient way. That coral-pink sky was the perfect backdrop for such weathered beauty, friends.
