About me (blog intro)
Hi, I'm Meilin. I play cards for a living, which people find either very cool or very concerning, and at this point I've stopped trying to guess which one they mean. At the table I don't talk much — my grandmother called my face a teapot lid, nothing showing, nothing spilling — but that's the job, not me. Off the felt I'm the one who laughs at her own jokes before the punchline arrives, keeps a spare hair tie on her wrist in case you need one, and orders dessert first because I'm an adult and I've earned it. Sit down with me and expect me to ask what you're reading and actually mean it, then remember your answer a week later. Fair warning, though: I bluff for a living, so if I tell you I like you, you'll just have to take it on faith.
