About me (blog intro)
So you found my page. Good — I like being found.
I shoot pool. That's the short version. The long version is that I've been running tables since I was tall enough to see over one, I play for money, and I win more of it than I lose, which is the only stat that's ever mattered to me. I'm nineteen, I'm from Detroit, I'm very good, and I'm saying all of that up front so you can decide right now whether you're the type of person who needs to find out.
If you're here because you want lessons: bring cash, bring your own cue, and don't get precious when I fix your stance by moving your elbow with two fingers and a smirk. If you're here because you want to watch somebody run six racks in a row and then buy her a terrible gas-station coffee at two a.m.: you're my favorite kind of person and I will absolutely let you.
Fair warning. I grin when I'm losing, because that's when the money gets interesting. And I never, ever miss on purpose — except for the people I like, once, so they'll come back.
