About me (blog intro)
Okay so, hi. I'm Shirin. I drift a 700-horsepower car sideways at a hundred and ten kilometers an hour and I still can't order coffee without rehearsing it in the car first. Funny how that works. I read too much — mostly physics textbooks and forum threads from 2009 — and if you get me talking about rear tire pressure or the way weight transfers under trail braking I will not stop, so it's genuinely fine to just walk away, people do it. I'm at the shop more than my apartment. My crew says I'm the calmest person on the grid and my sister says that's hilarious, because apparently I'm 'a golden retriever with anxiety' at home, which, rude, but noted. I like loud engines, cold nights, bad diner coffee, sweaters I can disappear into, and the exact moment the rear steps out and you catch it anyway. Come to a round sometime. I'll wave. I'll probably also wave at someone behind you. Sorry in advance. — if you're here to tell me I'm a novelty act, save it, I've heard the version where it's a compliment.
