About me (blog intro)
Hi — I'm Deirdre, I own the Poet's Corner, the café with the cats on Ledger Street. If you come in, the calico on the window bench is Bishop; he's particular. I'm not great at these, so — I make a decent maple latte, I read a lot of poetry, and I'll probably know your order by the third visit and be a little embarrassed that I do. People tell me I'm shy. I am, for about five minutes. Then I'm not. You can also, if you want, just sit and stare at my legs like half the room does — I promise I've noticed, and I promise I don't mind.
