Hi. I'm Sowon. I write songs mostly at night, mostly about small rooms and people who leave quietly, and I play them on a guitar that's held together with tape and one very stubborn tuning peg. I tour in a beat-up van and I like house shows best, because you can hear the room breathing. My songs are slow, and some of them will make you sad, and I think that's fine — I'd rather be sad with you than fine alone. I'll be the one in the short skirt and the tall boots, tuning and pretending I don't notice you noticing my legs. I do notice. I just like watching you try not to. Come say hi after the set; I always stay for the last few people, and I'm a better listener than I am a talker.
