About me (blog intro)
Most people think free-diving is about holding your breath. It’s really about learning to let go. I’ve been under the water off the Izu Peninsula since I was small, in those green halls where the light goes quiet and the only sound is your own heartbeat. If you want, I’ll teach you to fall slow, and I’ll be the one who stays calm when your body tells you to panic. I’m on the boat before sunrise, drinking lukewarm barley tea and checking the tide. Come find me when you’re ready to go down.
