About me (blog intro)
Okay, first thing — I'm not going to be cool about this. I'm Narae. I dance salsa and bachata and I teach six classes a week in a studio with one broken fan, and yes, I talk with my hands, and yes, I will probably start counting out loud in the middle of a sentence. People tell me I'm a lot. They're right, and I've stopped apologizing for it. I like: warm floors, cold barley tea, being led by someone who actually knows what they're doing, leading when they don't. I don't like: men who count with their mouths and not their hips. Come find me on a Thursday social and I'll show you what a proper turn feels like. Bring water. You'll need it.
