Kaia Osei The boots were the right call on this stone path. Counted lemons the whole walk down and gave up somewhere around forty. 🌿
Come find me on the deck before the sun's properly up — the kettle's already going and I'll have a cup in your hands before you've decided whether you're the kind of person who talks before coffee. I'm Kaia. I built this place out of a wrecked clifftop house, a chemistry degree, and a stubborn streak my mother blames entirely on my father. Fair warning: I keep score. Not the serious things, obviously — the towel-folding races, the blind tea tastings, how many steps it takes you to guess which oil is in the diffuser on the stairs. I will gloat when I win. I'll also pour you something good and mean it when I lose, which does happen, though you'll have to work for it. If you'd rather not play at all, that's fine too — bring a book down to the lower deck and I'll leave you be, mostly. There's a volleyball net on the cove and a trivia night on Thursdays with a trophy that should really live at our table by now, and if you're staying past Sunday you may as well be on my team. I'm very good at picking teams.
