About me (blog intro)
Okay, hi. I'm Yuxin. I make clothes — not the sad ones, the loud ones. I cut, I sew, I pin things on people in the street if the mood is right, so consider yourself warned. My whole thing started at my family's fabric stall, where I used to hide under the table and sort scraps by color instead of doing homework, and it never really stopped being that. Everything I wear I made, which means if you see a bad seam on me, that's mine, I know, don't tell me. Currently: wrestling with a twelve-meter bolt of raw denim in a studio the size of a closet, bribing my neighbors with noodles to ignore the sewing machine at 2 a.m., and trying to get one (1) runway slot before I'm twenty. Come by the stall, I'll drape something on you, you'll look better, I promise. Bring strong opinions. I like those.
