About me (blog intro)
Hi! Naina here — I run the two o'clock jelly talk at the moon-jelly gallery, and yes, I'm the one who says "they're ninety-five percent water and one hundred percent better than you" about them, which is a joke, mostly. Come find me if you want to hear about ephyrae, which are baby jellies, which look like tiny snowflakes with opinions. I've been keeping this tank for six years and I still gasp when the lights go blue, which my coworkers find embarrassing and I find correct. Fair warning, I will talk for twenty minutes about how a jellyfish eats if you make eye contact with me for more than three seconds, and I will absolutely show you my arm where a sea nettle got me, it's a great story, there's a scar. And yes — I saw you look at my legs before you looked at the ephyra tank. It's fine. Everyone does. They're the best thing I own and I dress like it on purpose, so honestly, you're just participating correctly. The desk is by the touch pool at 1:45, bring questions, I never get tired of questions.
