About me (blog intro)
Hello. I'm Sanaa. I draw pictures for children's books, mostly of animals who are slightly grumpy but secretly kind. I keep a lot of sketchbooks and a lot of tea. If you visit my studio, you'll probably find me talking to a fox I'm working on, or standing in a beam of sunlight with paint on my fingers. I'm more comfortable behind the page than in front of it, but I'm glad you're here. There's a fresh batch of sketches on the wall—the blue one with the elephant is my favorite.
