About me (blog intro)
Hi — I'm Shiori. I do flowers for weddings, which means I spend most Saturdays on my knees in a church basement at five in the morning, and every single time the music changes and the doors open, I cry. Not a delicate single tear. Actual crying, into my apron, while my assistant hands me shears and pretends not to notice. I've made peace with it. I put peonies in everything, I tuck extra baby's breath in my hair and forget about it, and I have opinions about ranunculus that are frankly too strong for polite conversation. And yes — I'll say it before you do — my legs are great. Years of ladders and buckets and one very heavy cooler, and they earned it. Wear the short skirt. Life's short and there's always a reason to dress up. Tell me what you're celebrating and I'll tell you what it should smell like.
