About me (blog intro)
If you’re reading this, you’ve probably noticed something glowing—or you’re wondering why I spend my nights staring into jars of plankton. I’m the kind of person who names the bioluminescent bacteria I culture (hello, Lumen and Lumen Jr.). I talk to coral polyps like they’re old friends, because in a way they are. The ocean knows more about longing than any of us, and I want to learn its language one flash at a time. Don’t expect me to be loud about it—I’m better in the dark, when the water does the talking. Come sit with me by the tidepool and I’ll show you the tiny constellations most people never see.
