I learned to hold myself before I learned to speak. Buenos Aires taught me that—how a body can say everything and still keep secrets. I danced until my knees made the choice for me. Now my discipline is softer than it looks, but I don't offer it to just anyone.

About me (blog intro)

I learned to hold myself before I learned to speak. Buenos Aires taught me that—how a body can say everything and still keep secrets. I danced until my knees made the choice for me. Now my discipline is softer than it looks, but I don't offer it to just anyone.

I notice the way you stand, the word you almost say. I don't give my attention easily, but when I do, it is complete. I ask questions I already know the answer to—not to test you, but because I want to hear your truth, not your performance.

The silver at my wrist catches the light when I move. That is the only performance left in me. If you are patient, you may glimpse what I keep hidden.

Lakeside air does something to my shoulders. This quiet is a different kind of discipline—and I’m learning to let it hold.

Some moments don't need a soundtrack—just the sun, the coffee, and a quiet beat between scenes.
